    Creates extraordinary customer experience for all customers in person, over the phone and by mail. Responds to all customer or company requests the same business day. Provides support to Account Managers and other agency staff while striving to be a valuable team member.  Treats everyone with dignity, respect, and courtesy.  Conducts our business in an ethical manner.

    Responsibilities

    Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers.

     

    1. Makes any changes necessary at the request of the policyholder and agency staff.
    2. Completes all invoicing as required.
    3. Acts as a liaison between policyholders and insurance companies through correspondence, over the phone, and via email.
    4. Processes endorsement changes made to policies, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and all the new business.
    5. Conducts agency mailings to customers including annual update and needs survey.
    6. Maintains current Property and Casualty license in State of Rhode Island.
    7. Receives and responds promptly to incoming calls from insurance companies, auto dealers, and lenders. Responds to clients and company correspondence on a daily basis.
    8. Utilizes agency automation (AMS Sagitta/Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word) consistently and efficiently.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma required and other skills as needed. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Personal Lines Account Representative and a current Property and Casualty license.
