    Creates extraordinary customer experience for all customers in person, over the phone and by mail. Responds to all customer requests the same business day. Provides support to PL’s  Account Managers, Producers  and other agency staff as needed.  Treats everyone with dignity, respect, and courtesy.  Conducts our business in an ethical manner.

    Responsibilities

    Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and Account Managers.

    1. Takes incoming new business requests and completes questionnaires, logs referral, set up client in Sagitta and assigns to appropriate producer / Account Manager.
    2. Makes any changes necessary at the request of the policyholder and agency staff including change of address, cancellations, and endorsements.
    3. Answer clients billing questions, and helps resolve billing issues and concerns.
    4. Renews policies and updates coverage information in Sagitta for non–download business.
    5. Acts as a liaison between policyholders and insurance companies through correspondence and over the phone.
    6. Sorts mail daily as needed. Separates incoming mail by endorsements and renewals.  Reviews all returned mail and contacts policyholders to correct address information.
    7. Acts as a liaison to BankNewport referral system, keeping up with spreadsheet, contacting referrals, and getting producers involved as necessary. Reports to manager as needed.
    8. Receives and responds to incoming calls from clients, insurance companies, auto dealers, and lenders.
    9. Responds to clients and company correspondence on a daily basis.
    10. Greets walk-in clients as needed and occasionally fills in as back up to receptionist.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma and willingness to obtain P&C insurance license.
