The position of Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business by contacting potential customers, referral sources and centers of influence for OceanPoint Marine Lending (OPML), a division of BankNewport. The Sales Representative will work closely with our product divisions and OPML’s sales leadership to develop and maintain a sustainable production pipeline that aligns with company strategy, product appetite and steady growth. The Sales Representative’s primary scope of responsibility is the solicitation and origination of boat loans for OPML or on behalf of BankNewport’s correspondent banks or other bona fide sources.
