Marketing Internship

Actively participate in the BankNewport Internship by assisting the department with various duties and tasks.

At the culmination of the internship, the intern will create a final presentation to showcase the skills and knowledge acquired through the program.

This Internship is full time, on - site located in Middletown, Rhode Island.

• Develop and capture content, including photo and video to support marketing campaigns and social media.
• Assist with building social media campaigns and generating new campaign ideas.
• Conduct research on target audiences and market trends to assist the marketing team in planning new campaigns.
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
• Maintain the marketing promotional item inventory, including tracking items in and out of the inventory and requesting reorders as needed.
• Assist in editing/preparing presentations.
• Distribute marketing materials to branches and address branch requests.
• Organize and assist with marketing events, including onsite event support.

• High School Diploma/ GED Equivalent
• Must be current undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
• Must possess working knowledge or proficiency of InDesign.

SUPERVISORY SCOPE:

No supervisory responsibility

INDEPENDENT ACTION:

Performs work within established guidelines and according to specific procedures.  Refers problems to immediate supervisor.
